Clarence Clemons

Clarence Clemons, Bruce Springsteen’s “Big Man”, has passed away.  On June 12th, Clarence suffered a stroke, seemed to improve, but couldn’t recover.  Known for his blistering saxophone solos, Clarence also worked with Jackson Browne, Aretha Franklin, Ringo Starr, and even dove into acting. Clarence is survived by four sons.

Soundgarden Reunites

Soundgarden is back and blazing.  The Seattle group disbanded in 1997.  But in 2010, Soundgarden reformed for a couple of shows.  Now, they’re in the midst of finishing a new album.  Summer dates are planned, and Mars Volta will be an opening act.
